It started with a rental car and a surprise 'multa' in the mail, weeks after a wonderful holiday in Spain. We discovered that paying a simple traffic fine was a maze of confusing websites, language barriers, and payment systems that wouldn’t accept our cards.

We spent hours trying to figure out the DGT website, worried about missing the deadline for the 50% discount. We saw how this single bureaucratic step could sour the memories of an amazing trip.

It was during that frustrating process that we had an idea: what if we could build the service we wished we had? A service that was clear, reliable, and spoke English. A service that would handle the stressful part, so you could focus on the good memories.

That’s how Pay Fines Spain was born. We combine our firsthand knowledge of the system with a deep understanding of the traveler and expat experience. Our mission is to make dealing with Spanish bureaucracy as simple and painless as it should be.
